I have added links to YouTube videos of both Sarendipity and Victory Bells. I tried to add the videos to the website but they were just too large and the pages took forever to open.........so decided to go the “YouTube” route.
We still have a lot of snow on the ground - this year has been the coldest we have experienced since moving here in 1994 and we also have more snow than we have seen here in previous years. The trees are not even in bud yet and not a whisper of a crocus or daffodil in sight! I am just itching to get into the saddle again as I have 4 youngsters to start and two to continue their training.
On July 13th, 20 years ago, I walked into a field, haltered a horse called Kara Kums Caliph and started everything you see on these pages. Caliph is 33 years old now and although we love all our horses, he really is very special. I had never been near a horse before but started my equine involvement at a week long summer camp that year and, to use a cliche, the rest is history...... I hope you enjoy reading about him on his own page (“My Friend”) - we felt he was entitled to his special spot on our website. He is not quite as handsome as he once was, sway backed, prominent hip bones and a lot of gray in his mane and on his face but he still thinks he is gorgeous and so do we.
