Have just read that Lantinus (our Limited Lantina’s half brother) won the 2009 $487,687 Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen.
Leonardo (Leo) was started Spring 2009 under saddle and he is traversing our outdoor ring like a pro at walk, trot and canter. He has also started jumping gymnastics and we are extremely pleased with his progress. More news about Leo on his page with results of his first Dressage Test.
Autumesrein was also started under saddle in Spring 2009 and we will report her progress on her page as she progresses.
I also received a further lovely e-mail and photographs from the young lady who purchased Sarendipity last year. Sara is doing very well and placed first in all her training level dressage classes at the Amberlea Dressage Schooling Show in Alberta. In May she went on to win two firsts and a third at the Amberlea Dressage Show which means she will probably be competing at First Level in her next showing.
I just received another e-mail in July from Sara’s owner and she competed in the CDI Fundraiser Dressage Show, again at Amberlea Meadows. She placed 2nd in one of her First Level classes and took 61.6 percent in the other. She also placed 2nd in her Training Level Class.
It is so nice to hear how our horses are doing with their new owners and I do appreciate being kept in touch.
I am putting a couple of pictures taken last month of our two new foals, Isabella and Ashira, together on this page as they are so cute. They play together all the time and take off for adventures away from their Moms. You can see how Isabella’s coat is changing from chestnut to grey so she looks more like a buckskin at the moment!
